New Custom Boxing glove Black & Red handmade in Mexico, made with 100% goat skin.
The filling is 100% natural rubber (latex).
The lining is repellent nylon.
It is sewn with nylon thread.
Double seam LACE-UP Welted Seams The Boxeo brand is a well-known brand for its excellent performance and durability.
This is not the ordinary glove that you will see anywhere.
You can see here an interesting review of the Boxing gloves published in ExpertBoxing by Jhonny: https://expertboxing.
com/best-boxing-gloves-review#mexican “I think part of what makes Mexican gloves a cult-favorite is because of their old school appeal.
It’s a bit of nostalgia wearing the same gloves as what the old-timers used to wear, and they also happen to be very high quality and extremely comfortable.
You feel like you’re wearing a custom artisan glove made by a local craftsman compared to the factory mass-produced gloves made by the big corporations.
The Mexican brands are also popular for their boutique “customization” options.
It’s fun to order different colors and have a completely unique glove from what everybody else is wearing in the gym.
Once you get your first custom color combination, you get addicted to ordering more.
And hey guess what, the faster you wear out your gloves, the faster you can justify buying a new color combination.
What a great way to motivate yourself to train, right? Boxeo – really primitive “ugly” boxy look but fine gloves, very high quality materials, comfortable, really protective and great padding in knuckle and wrist area (as soft as Zepol and Campeon), and long-lasting (will definitely outlast most gloves).
Big pocket with more hand space than other brands; some complain that it’s too big (and will wear knuckle guards and/or extra wraps to take up the space), but some say it’s tight.
You’ll notice the quality and different smell of the goat leather right away; the way it smells will make you a Boxeo addict.
The biggest drawback is the lining.
The way the gloves are shaped really helps you get perfect technique when hitting the mitts and bags.
Nacho Beristain used this brand a lot in his gym.
Video of Erik Morales sparring in Boxeo gloves.
One of the few brands to still put welted seams (I think).
Forum review of someone giving them a 10 out of 10, another says it’s easily the best glove for sparring and overall constructional quality, definitely “better than Zepol“, another vs Zepol, and vs Grant.
Great for sparring AND bagwork.
“Ugly but the closest to Mexican Winnings“.
I hear they actually do custom work.
WARNING: some people say they got a crappy Boxeo pair and that the brand is inconsistent.
” NOTE: It is important to clarify that these are handmade gloves made 100% in a workshop and unlike gloves made in massive quantities by factories, they are gloves that may have small blemishes.
