Publicis Groupe is looking to hire a Digital Performance Media Supervisor for one of the leading accounts in the Miami Office.
The Media Supervisor is the primary manager of the day-to-day requirements of media/communications planning on a group of brands.
The Supervisor is responsible for translating marketing/media objectives into media plan development action steps through various projects.
The Supervisor is the secondary point of contact for clients on client requests and the primary point of contact for clients on stewardship requests and is responsible for having a firm grasp of both strategic and functional media/communications knowledge.
Job Description Contribute to Latin American Communications Planning for specific brands.
Manage day-to-day work assigned as part of the LATAM Comms Planning team including stewardship.
Focuses on servicing clients in the creation, execution, and monitoring of media plans to secure the best investment options in a variety of mediums to maximize clients’ reach to targeted consumers.
Collaborates and fosters relationships with key partners: clients, internal teams and leadership Primary manager of day-to-day requirements of media planning/implementation.
Oversees daily communication and collaborates with associates and senior associates to create weekly documentation (reporting, status) Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Client business from both a current situation and historical perspective.
Convey ideas for process improvements and best practices to ensure consistency, flexibility and efficiency Media Planning and Strategy: Manages planning with heavy collaboration across digital, TV, social, and programmatic channels.
Owns tactical development, recommendation building, and negotiations across respective channels.
Leads strategic planning initiatives, including deck writing, budgeting, and channel allocation, with a focus on audience development.
Analyzes data in collaboration with associates or senior associates to inform media purchases and channel allocation.
Oversees campaign performance to ensure KPI delivery and provides proactive recommendations for optimization.
Requests proposals, coordinates necessary meetings, reviews proposals, writes POVs, and manages negotiations for high-value and/or complex packages, fostering strong vendor relationships.
Forecasts annual investments by media by vendor, reports investments, analyzes rates, commitments, and budgets.
Proactively identifies and addresses issues to ensure client objectives are met.
Talent Management Responsible for management and development of Associates and Senior Associates - inclusive of regular feedback, training and general oversee.
Provides job performance feedback to direct report and works with Director and AMD in managing career trajectory of junior staffing Provide routine direction to associates to achieve client/agency objectives.
Additional Responsibilities: Drives innovation in media strategies by staying current with industry trends and exploring creative approaches to media planning.
Optimizes campaign performance by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing adjustments as needed.
Proactively troubleshoots any issues that may arise during campaigns to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with media vendors to secure favorable terms and stay informed about new opportunities.
Ensures seamless integration and synergy across different media channels to maximize overall campaign impact.
Identifies opportunities for market expansion and growth based on market analysis and client objectives.
Develops strategies to enter new markets or demographics effectively.
Introduces innovative reporting methods and analytics tools to provide clients with deeper insights into campaign performance.
Demonstrates adaptability to unexpected challenges or changes in client priorities.
Implements effective crisis management strategies to mitigate risks and maintain campaign effectiveness.
Actively engages in ongoing learning and professional development within the field of media planning.
Shares new industry insights and best practices with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university Approximately three years of media/communications planning and buying experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bilingual, English and Spanish Strong mathematical fundamentals, comfortable working with data Excellent understanding of media/communication fundamentals, including all research Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities Demonstrates ability in training and leadership capability Organizational skills to manage and prioritize team daily work flow Strong command of media research resources, capabilities and limitations Strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred experience with the following media systems: Kantar, Ibope, Media Tools, Media Ocean, Prisma, Doubleclick, Campaign Manager, etc.
