Job Description
This position will have full P&L responsibility for Spa, Art and Celebrations, leading the overall strategy, design and implementation of growth initiatives across the portfolio of business.
Interacts with multiple support functions across the organization (marketing, booked guest website, business partners, and guest shipboard operations) to implement pricing, merchandising and revenue management initiatives across the portfolio.
Develop business case and capital expenditure plans for guest commerce.
Manages the business partners for Spa and Art, including indirect supervision of 700+ shipboard TMs.
Essential Functions: Develop and execute initiatives to grow the business and improve guest and crew satisfaction leveraging operators across 3 different business functions (Spa, Celebrations and Art).
Define commercial strategy and negotiate with key partners for the right product and commercial terms.
Identify, select and deploy new technologies to identify potential guests and develop promotions that drive traffic, consumption and revenue for Spa, Celebrations and Art Assess overall success of ongoing and past initiatives, extracting insight from internal trends/data, external market conditions.
Provide adjustments as needed for future initiatives and present recommendations that align to overall guest operation strategy.
Report key performance indicators to be presented to CCL Executive leadership team.
Build a high performing team through leadership development, talent acquisition, coaching and effective performance management.
Develop analytical models to optimize staffing levels of Spa and Art based on team productivity onboard.
Prepare annual Spa, Art and Weddings business plan, including regular forecast revisions and reporting to be presented to executive leadership team.
Oversee business partners (One Spa World, Park West) with decision making responsibility on business initiatives, staffing activities, location, marketing communications, HESS and operational plans, pricing, and revenue management.
Support VP on preparation of business cases for Capital Expenditures and major business changes Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Marketing preferred 10+ years of total experience including a combination of Designing and implementing business plans and growth initiatives in complex organization; Exposed to a variety of industries (Ideally healthcare, beauty, consumer goods and/or Art), Technology and business development roles; High pace environment like management consulting, private equity or start-ups.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Knowledge of overall business strategy and operations including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures.
High-level proficiency with financial statement analysis.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Organizational skills to coordinate action plans and implement actionable strategies.
Excellent presentation skills to deliver effective and informative material.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.
Travel: Ship based.
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
The range for this role’s base salary is $87,200 - $140,000.
Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
