Our Miami branch is looking for a new Trade Sales Development Manager to join our Sea Logistics team.
Your Role
As our Trade Lane Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing the logistics landscape.
Your mission is to lead the charge in developing new inbound and outbound trade opportunities in the thriving Trans-Atlantic market.
You won't just be a part of our sales team; you'll be a key player in our growth strategy, collaborating with top-tier executives to chart a course to success.
Your Responsibilities
Manage and nurture customer relationships and agreements, becoming their trusted advisor
Utilize your expertise in our designated territory to craft innovative supply chain solutions tailored to our customers' unique needs
Become the go-to trade and subject matter expert for your territory, setting the bar for excellence
Devise and execute a game-changing sales plan for your area, driving us toward our growth targets
Engage in high-level discussions with senior customers to ensure their utmost satisfaction
Work closely with our trade team to secure target growth and market share on the Trans-Atlantic route
Continuously assess and validate customer needs, staying ahead of the curve
Build a powerful internal network with our overseas counterparts to uncover opportunities
Shape pricing strategies and collaborate on RFQ preparations alongside Trade Management
Provide timely operational support to customers, guiding them through routings, escalations, and quotes
Keep a finger on the pulse of the market, monitoring competitive products and trends
Be ready to travel as needed to nurture key relationships and seize opportunities
Maintain a meticulously organized record of sales activities in our Client Relationship Management system
Utilize all available resources to deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Your Skills and Experiences
5+ years of industry experience
5+ years experience in a field sales environment
BA/BS or equivalent work experience
Experience with Requests For Proposal, creating sales planes, and developing customer solutions
