SUMMARY:
The Account Manager oversees a portfolio of high-net-worth insurance clients, exercising significant independent discretion and decision-making.
Delivers professional and courteous service to VIP clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues, ensuring account retention meets or exceeds expectations.
Offers substantial support to producers and brokers for business acquisition, maintenance, and expansion.
Additionally, may handle account rounding and new business development in line with established practices and policies.
This role emphasizes the growth and retention of the private client book of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independently makes decisions regarding the management of assigned books of insurance business.
Collaborates closely with producers, brokers, and HUB personnel, following HUB's best practices and procedures in client service, marketing, and renewals.
Gains insight into clients' insurance objectives, conducts through analyses of insurance plans, and provides suitable recommendations.
Manages the preparation and execution of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processes related to assigned accounts.
Serves as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, resolving escalated complex service issues and negotiation with underwriters and carriers.
Takes responsibility for overall account retention in the designated book of business.
Stays updated on insurance industry changes and external factors affecting clients, making independent recommendations in response.
Addresses claims and billing issues.
Expands news business from existing accounts and assigned leads, contributing to departmental production goals.
Identifies and pursues cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
Documents conversations with clients and carrier representatives, updating HUB computer systems and automated agency management systems for accuracy.
Attends continuing education training and courses relevant to the industry.

REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Florida 2-20 or 20-44 license.
2-5 years of personal lines with emphasis on homeowners and high net worth experience preferred.
Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish required.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Strong technical insurance knowledge and background.
Experience with EPIC preferred.
Strong customer service focus, energetic, action oriented and ready to seize any opportunity.
Responds with a sense of urgency as required.
Strong communication and negotiation skills under stressful situations.
Ability to work independently but also assists members of the team.
Ability to maintain professional manner at all times.
High Degree of self-motivation, discipline, and discretion.
Advanced time management and organization skills.
Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel knowledge.
