We're seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as Internal Communications Specialist.
The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for working closely with the Internal Communications Manager assisting in all initiatives with the goal of improving and streamlining communications and internal processes.
The ideal candidate embraces the aims set forth in the School’s philosophy, must have a great attitude and provide incredible customer service to all our constituents while ensuring all platforms and applications are updated and follow our guidelines.
The role includes, but is not limited to monitoring and updating portals across multiple divisions daily, creating PowerPoint presentations and templates, the ability to communicate, assist, and train many different departments, fast-paced graphic design turnaround, updating databases, light web maintenance (Wordpress).
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating dynamic graphics, finding creative solutions to problems, and great presentation skills.

*Responsibilities*:
* Create graphics, invitations, portal/digital assets, and social media posts
* Maintain Portals (using Veracross school management and communications system)
* Compose and edit letters and memos in an organized manner using Veracross.
* Use a ticketing system for requests, maintain and update daily
* Use Asana for project management
* Collaborate with the school’s newsletter and portal blog
* Oversee and support school calendar efforts
* Create presentation templates (Google Slides and Powerpoint)
* Be comfortable in assisting in training staff
* Photographing/recording events and light photo and video editing.
* Collaborating on instructional videos production
* Design and maintain forms
* Organize and maintain Google Drive
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* Create graphics in several different formats to be used in multiple platforms and applications.
* Prepare and assist administrators with various communications (PowerPoint presentation, emails, social media, blog posts)
* Provide general office administrative duties as needed.
* Ability to work independently, set priorities and think critically.
* Tech savvy, most of the work is done on the computer.
Light HTML knowledge is a plus.
* Great copywriting skills.
* A team player, with great collaboration skills, with a happy attitude who is always respectful, and able to follow policies.
Flexible and open-minded to try and explore new ways of doing things.
* Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
REQUIREMENTS
* Apple Computer Knowledge
* Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, basic Adobe Premier or iMovie a plus
* PowerPoint / Google Slides
* G- Suite
* Zoom
* Asana
* Veracross/ Axiom (training provided with Veracross University online)
*Experience:*
* Graphic Skill: 3-year minimum
* Copywriting skills: 2 years (Preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: Up to $45,000.
