*Summary*
The social media coordinator reports to the Associate Digital Marketing Director and is responsible for supporting Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok along with other social media initiatives and tasks to achieve the center’s overall digital marketing goals.
These responsibilities include daily copywriting for content calendars, community management, content sourcing, grid construction, content creation and organization, gathering data and sharing with the Associate Digital Marketing Director for reports, on-site filming for tenants and events.
The qualified candidate will establish a strong working relationship with the Miami Design District Marketing Team and post for The Miami Design District, Design District Magazine and CEO’s accounts.
*Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities*
*Social Media Account Coordination *
● Daily posting to the feed on Miami Design District Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest (6-7 times a week, 2-3 stories a week).
● Account coordination for the Design District Magazine account (starting at 1-2 posts a week, occasional stories)
● Post and film content for CEO’s Instagram account – collaborate with Digital Marketing team on strategy and copy.
● Daily copywriting to create engaging captions across all platforms.
● Brainstorm and execute TikToks and Instagram Reels with the marketing team.
Experience filming and editing iPhone content required.
● Work with Associate Digital Marketing Director to concept and create unique stories to post weekly.
● Community management on all accounts to enhance engagement.
*Content Creation *
● Capture engaging content for the Miami Design District and Design District Magazine Instagram accounts
● Create and organize on-brand and relevant monthly content calendars and grids to maintain brand aesthetic.
● Film weekly buzz-worthy events, store openings, influencer shoots and pop-ups.
● Work with Director of Cultural Programming to promote art-related events and film promotional content with artists.
● Source content such as UGC, reposts and organize full-scale neighborhood content sent by Associate Digital Marketing Director.
*Social Media Performance, Reporting and Analytics *
● Utilize Social Media Tools such as Later, Linkin.
bio and more.
● Analyze competitors and continuously brainstorm fresh ideas to stay innovative and ahead.
● Post relevant news clips and articles to Facebook and Instagram Stories weekly.
● Create monthly insight reports using data from Instagram, Facebook and Sprout, tracking high and low performers, analyzing strengths and weaknesses and applying learnings to next month’s content plan with feedback from Associate Digital Marketing Director.
● Collaborate with Associate Digital Marketing Director to develop cutting-edge campaigns for social media.
● Track cutting-edge trends relevant to the TikTok platform.
● Cultivate relationships with store managers and employees, garnering enthusiasm for MDD x tenant partnerships for future shoots.
● Prepare briefs for partner agency when they are scheduled for social coverage.
● Research and utilize current trends that can be specifically placed across social channels.
*Requirements*
● Must be up-to-date with all functions of Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
● Advanced skills in filming iPhone content for reels and TikToks.
● Superb oral and written English communication skills; ability to be creative and engaging in written communication.
Pristine copyright skills necessary.
● Knowledgeable of all social media channels and trends.
● At least 1-2 years in social media and account coordination.
● Critical thinker, strong work ethic, schedule flexibility and solution-oriented.
● Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, InDesign, Social Media programs, and LightRoom.
● Interest in luxury retail, consumer trends, contemporary art and design is recommended.
● If applicable, send sample grid and social media copy and reel samples.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.
