ABOUT THE ROLE The Business Development Representatives form the core of our Business Development team and interact daily with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers to educate them on our services and encourage them to refer their infusion therapy patients to us.
RESPONSIBILITIES Increase new patient encounters by identifying potential referral sources, seeking out strategic partnerships, and attending local events within the community Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth within the assigned territory Identify and prospect potential healthcare providers, including medical practices, clinics, hospitals, and specialty healthcare centers Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to drive referrals and increase patient volumes Conduct presentations and educational in-services to healthcare providers, showcasing services and addressing any inquiries or concerns Monitor competitor activities and market trends, provide timely feedback to management, and contribute to the development of competitive sales strategies Utilize internals systems such as an internal EMR as well as a CRM system to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate detailed reports for review and analysis Input timely and well-organized reports via CRM reporting, management tracking and expense platforms.
Coordinate with internal teams, including Regional Operations, PA/intake among others to ensure smooth onboarding and excellent customer service Act as a liaison between referring practices and operations team to ensure physician practices and patients are onboarded properly and have a positive experience at every contact with IVX Health Work with Business Development Manager to identify and target key accounts, visit frequency, and any other related follow-up needed Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapies offered, industry regulations, market trends and compliance standards to provide accurate and credible information to healthcare providers and patients Participate in regular sales meetings, company education and training, and performance reviews to continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge Analyze sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for business expansion and improvement of sales performance Travel within the assigned territory to meet with potential and existing clients, assess market needs, and maintain a strong presence in the healthcare community Strategically target and cold call new providers within targeted specialties establishing relationships with providers and their staff to grow the territory, quickly establishing a reputation as a trusted advisor Conduct and prepare pre and post call planning, optimize travel routes and manage time efficiently Identify, manage, organize, and participate in local events, to increase brand recognition and patient interest.
Frequently work with the marketing department to share local events and patient engagement to maintain social media activity Establish a positive and collaborative working relationship with pharmaceutical reps within the industry and the market Operate at the highest ethical standard during every customer and patient interaction, and in alignment with IVX Health philosophies and principles BENEFITS Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance plans.
