Counter Sales - Sales Rep
The Floating Counter/Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the location?s operational performance, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales in the store and making sales calls,and fulfilling customer needs in a manner consistent with the company?s core values.
Summary of duties include but are not limited to:

Proactively identifying individual customer needs and offering appropriate programs, products, and solutions in a consultative manner.
Promptly and accurately processing sales orders.
Efficiently and effectively researching products/services as needed.
Promptly and accurately providing quotes to customers and processing their sales orders.
Maintaining the location?s appearance in accordance with Company policy and safety standards.
Actively participating in all training opportunities
Effectively and efficiently performing cycle counts as needed/directed by manager.
Efficiently and effectively filling/pulling orders as needed by utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
Assisting in the maintenance and presentation of all inventories and displays in the showroom.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with external customers.
Providing a consistent high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
Assisting customers in loading products/material into their vehicles when necessary.
Following-up with customers in a timely manner and notifying manager if/when necessary.
Safely operating all warehouse equipment; including a forklift, hand truck, and pallet jack.
Maintaining his/her valid forklift certification.
Following all safety standards and requirements according to company policy, OSHA, and Hazmat standards.
Notifying supervisor of all safety concerns; incidents and/or accidents in a timely manner.
Experience/Requirements:
Must be proficient in the use of computers and have ability to learn our product management software.
Must possess good communication skills and possess the ability to professionally interact with a wide variety of customers both over the telephone and in person.
Must possess a good work ethic and be able to work well with other team members.
Must be able to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
Must possess the analytical and cognitive abilities required to accurately enter data into the Company?s Sales Order Entry System, perform product and equipment research and follow-up on customer orders.
Must be able to accurately attend to details and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.
Must be able to safely operate all tools and equipment; including but not limited to: forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
A minimum of 2 years of comparable experience required.

Work is performed with telephone equipment, computers, fax, printer, and scanners.
Warehouse is not air conditioned space and can be warm or cool depending on the season.
