*Overview:*
At AKIRA our number one focus is putting our customers first! Our Cashiers wear many hats and are a huge support to the day to day operations in our stores.
Our Cashiers provide an exceptional experience to our customers by providing support to our sales team on the sales floor by ensuring fitting rooms are clean, processing and putting away the customer’s merchandise back on the floor after a try on session.
Our cashiers also provide an excellent experience at the register as they are the last impression that our customers get of our stores as they check out!
*Responsibilities:*
*Sales Floor / Operations Tasks:*
● Clean and organize the store on down time
● Empty out and maintain clean fitting rooms for our customers
● Process and put away all merchandise from a customer’s try on session
● Assist in putting out replenishment and new apparel from shipment
● Provide support to the sales team by pulling merchandise for their customers
● Provide support to the team by completing any needed operational tasks
● Complete all go home duties instructed by Manager before clocking out
*Cash Registers:*
● Provide a fast checkout and excellent experience to our customers
● Collect customer information for AKIRA’s loyalty program; name, phone number, birthday, and date of birth
● Suggest add ons and merchandise at cash register to ensure maximum sales
● Operates cash register in accordance with policies and procedures
● Ensures all company policies are followed with regard to payment options, current prices, adding discounts, and returns
● Answer any and all of the customer’s questions and concerns
● Inform customers on upcoming sales and events through Cold Calling
● Put away all merchandise, clean, and maintain an organized cash register

● Excellent cash handling skills
● Strong customer service skills

● Ability to multi-task and has a strong sense of urgency
● Ability to lift and put away merchandise and shipment

Weekly day range:
* Monday to Friday
* Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Miami Beach, FL 33139: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
* Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
* Cash handling: 1 year (Preferred)
