Is directly responsible for leading and managing all sections of the Front office 9 Front Desk Assistant Mangers, Supervisors and Staff, PBX, Bell, and Concierge) in order to ensure the highest standards of service in accordance with the operating procedures and National Standards whole ensuring up selling training techniques are maintained up to date and in place to continuously maximize the room revenue.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: *_(Include Essential Duties Onlyl)_ All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with the National Hotel quality of service standards, and policies and procedures.
Reservations Agents be required to learn other functions in an effort to attain cross training skill sets that will help grow the overall knowledge of the Guest experience expectations.
As someone who has a passion for people, and enjoys a fast-pace environment, a core duty for all Reservations Associates is effectively multi-tasking; a quintessential factor to the success of their role; * Partners with Valet Manager to assist in the indirect supervision of Valet as it relates to the National Hotel Standards.
Works closely with Housekeeping, Engineering and Reservations to ensure Guest Room optimal cleanliness, readiness and revenue maximization standards are in place before assigning rooms to guests.
* Develops and implements departmental objectives in line with the hotel business objectives.
* Directs Front Office operations such as checking in, checking out and providing guest assistance whilst ensuring compliance with all front office policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction of guests' needs.
* Develops implements and continually reviews the policies, procedures, practices and standards for Front Office.
* Seeks continuous improvements through the maintenance of and updates to The National Standards of at least 5 SOP’s per week with a clear production, training and implementation schedule for proper and efficient follow up to maximize quality of the guest experience.
* Selects, trains, develops and manages the performance of direct and indirect subordinates to ensure the efficient running of front office operations.
* Partners with Executive Housekeeper and Chief Engineer toward timely guest room readiness, show room readiness and optimization of rooms maintenance overall for best revenue security.
* Partners with the Reservations Manager toward the optimum sales and coordination with the Reservations supervisor.
Communication is essential.
* Maximizes hotel revenue by controlling room inventory, group blocking, packages, up selling to next room category, reinforcing the late charge policy to maximize REVPAR in accordance with the company’s budget.
* Maintains high visibility during peak period in order to ensure smooth running of operations, promotes good public relations, takes corrective actions and handles customers’ complaints to ensure their satisfaction.
* Greets VIP guests of all level upon their arrival and escorts them to their room.
Establishes good rapport and offers assistance for the length of their stay.
* Coordinates Front Office efficiencies with various departments such as Executive Office, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing, Engineering and Security to ensure that all guests are given friendly and caring service from arrival through departure in accordance with The National Standards.
* Approves the training plan for all Front Office and follows up to ensure compliance and efficiency of training activities.
* Prepares the annual budget and manning guide and manages the Front Office Department within budgetary guidelines.
* Keeps abreast of all emergency procedures, hotel promotions, product knowledge, VIP arrivals, upcoming events and brief direct subordinates accordingly so that all front office staff are able to answer guest requests and questions.
* Accomplishes a set of administrative duties such as leading and attending meeting, writing reports and memos and other specific duties related to the job function.
* Receives, investigates, acts and follows up upon complaints from guests and employees ensuring the highest satisfaction from all sides.
* Coordinates with Human Resources Department and respective Department Heads training activities and cross exposure programs to ensure staff development.

_ * Hospitality Management Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any related field such as Administration or Tourism Management.
