Mater Academy Charter Middle High School is an "A" Ranked College Preparatory Charter School in Miami Dade County.
We are looking for Dynamic, Innovative, and Knowledgeable Educators to join our team for the 2024-2025 School Year.
We are looking for Middle/High School teachers for MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE (Eligible to Teach SCIENCE 5-9 or 6-12).
Preference will be given to those with FLDOE Certification.
The position is open to candidates with: * Bachelor's Degree or Higher * Florida Department of Education Certificate (Professional, Temporary or Statement of Eligibility).
* Teaching experience preferred * Knowledge of Florida Middle School Science Standards * Effective Classroom Management We are a Title I School with 86% Free and Reduced Lunch although our Graduation Rate is 99% and more than 25% of our Seniors Graduate with an AA from Miami Dade College.
We offer 26 Advanced Placement Classes, are a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics, Science) GOLD Designated School and boast a robust Performing Arts Academy.
